OBITUARY - ELSA FORTI-BARSI
It is with much sadness I advise that my dearest friend Elsa passed away at Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt
NZ. on the morning of Anzac Day (25th April, 2008) after her brave battle with cancer.
Elsa's Requiem Mass was held at St. Joseph's Church Upper Hutt, on 29th April 2008. A beautiful service,
beautiful music (of course - chosen by Elsa herself), and attended by over 400 people.
People from many different areas of Elsa's life - family, friends, musicians, choir members, educators, artists
- many paid tribute to a wonderful lady.
May she Rest In Peace.

Art for me is a release from the world's ills, where I can get lost in my own world of colour, space, and imagination. I
can revisit various places and recreate my love of seascapes, landscapes and skies. Acrylic is my preferred medium as it
is thick, merges well, holds its shape and does what I want it to do!
